Welcome to the preview release of our Workshop Collection Downloader. Technically, everything should work.

I made a step back to a BETA version to do some important implementations within the help and FAQ sections and also released a special workaround as TamperMonkey Script.

For which platforms does it work?
Our tool works with multiple platforms:
- EPIC Games Store
- GOG.com
- Dedicated game servers (rented or self-hosted)
- Any platform supporting SteamCMD integration
It's particularly useful for platforms where you own the game but want to use Steam Workshop mods.
Do I need Steam installed?
Why TamperMonkey?
There are limitations when you don't own the game on Steam resulting in that you can't create any own collection of that game. But you can still subscribe to the mods you want to have for your game and can create with the script the SteamCMD commands from your own workshop page.
You find your subscriptions within your account. You can copy the following URL and replace the "YOUR-STEAM-USER-NAME" with your account user name: https://steamcommunity.com/id/YOUR-STEAM-USER-NAME/myworkshopfiles?browsefilter=mysubscriptions
The data will be processed on this webpage. This way I have to care only for a single codebase when there are changes on Steam by Valve.
Where are the downloaded mods stored?
Workshop content is downloaded to:
- Windows: steamapps\workshop\content\[gameid]
- Linux: steamapps/workshop/content/[gameid]
Each mod gets its own folder named after its Workshop ID.
